Katie Cooper

After leaving university I decided to make accountancy my career. Since that time, I have studied and graduated with the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT). I continue to work alongside the AAT organisation, in a promotional role, visiting educational establishments and encouraging pupils to make accountancy their career. My experience to date has been with small to medium sized businesses.

In my career I  have worked my way up the accounts ladder from Payroll Clerk to Financial Controller. After 30 years working in accounts departments of small and medium sized businesses, within various industries, I have a wide range of experience in the sort of issues businesses continually have to contend with. There is no doubt in my mind, whatsoever, that the use of reliable accounts records are the tools to building better businesses.
